Miss Goffetown’s Milan Studio

I first met Fulvia, also known as Miss Goffetown, back in 2011 or 2012, in Bergamo (Italy). Miss is an incredible artist working across painting, ceramics, and sculpture.

This June, I was in Milan for work and had the pleasure of spending some time with her. I also had the chance to see the development of her latest exhibition — a beautiful and powerful collection of wooden sculptures. Over the weekend, we visited the town where she's from, where she has a large studio nestled in a garden — a peaceful world of its own, far from the noise of the city. We did an art exchange, and I brought home a wonderful piece: the Butterfly.

Spending time with Miss feels like stepping into a slower rhythm as if time softens around her. With her, I discover incredible worlds made of stories, vibrant colors, organic shapes, and ancient scents. Her universe is gentle yet powerful, full of beauty and meaning in the smallest things. Being around her always reminds me to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the depth and intention behind the creative process.

Sharing the work of other artists is something truly important to me, the creatives I admire have deeply shaped my artistic and professional path. I feel very lucky to have such inspiring artists in my life.

If you happen to be around Luxembourg on October 18th, there will be an artistic aperitivo where you’ll have the chance to see her work in person, you can check here www.lachambrebleue.lu
